Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Nodus ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

Nodus provides a global edge network for content delivery, caching, DDoS protection, and acceleration. We strive for 99.95% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to distribute malware, phishing, or illegal content
• Attempt to overload, crash, or reverse-engineer the network
• Resell or sublicense access without written permission
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses from compromised accounts.

5. Billing

• Free tier: 1 domain, 50 GB/month bandwidth, no credit card required
• Paid plans: billed monthly or annually in advance
• Bandwidth overages: charged at $0.01/GB above plan limits
• Refunds: available within 14 days of payment for unused time, minus bandwidth used

6. SLA

We target 99.95% monthly uptime. If we fall below:

• 99.0%–99.95%: 10% service credit
• 95.0%–99.0%: 25% service credit
• Below 95%: 50% service credit

File claims within 30 days at hello@nodus.app.

7. Data and content

You retain all rights to your content. We process it solely to deliver it through the network. We do not modify, analyze, or monetize your content.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, revenue loss, or business interruption, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
